The method

Understand. Plan. Solve. Check.

Every question is worked the way Singapore schools teach it: a bar model, clear working, and a check at the end.

Zed had $1900 more than Ben. After giving Ben some money, Zed had $880 more. How much did Zed give?

Before
Ben$1900 more
After
Ben +1u$8802 units

Kiko's tip: giving changes the gap twice. Zed loses 1 unit and Ben gains 1 unit.

  1. 1

    Understand

The gap shrank from $1900 to $880.

  2. 2

    Plan

The drop in the gap is 2 units.

  3. 3

    Solve

    1900 − 880 = 1020 → 1 unit = 1020 ÷ 2 = $510

  4. 4

    Check

Common slip: answering $1020. Always ask who gained.

Meet Kiko

A buddy who helps, not one who tells.

Children tap one of four help buttons. No typing, no free chat, and no answer until they've tried twice.

You've got the bar model right! What does the gap between the two bars stand for?
Show me step by step
Step 1: find how much the gap shrank. 1900 − 880 = ? Try it, then I'll show the next step.

Built for children's safety

  • Tap-only help. Kiko never asks for names, schools or photos.
  • Answers and full solutions stay hidden until two honest tries.
  • Parents can read and delete every Kiko reply.
  • Data hosted in Singapore. Chats deleted after 90 days. No ads, no trackers.

Hear Mum or Dad cheer them on.

Record your own voice for correct answers, streaks and finished papers. Your child hears you, even when you're at work.

Why we built it

“I wanted to help my daughter learn maths in a fun, engaging way that she could do anytime, not only at tuition time. Math Culture is what we built for her, and now for your child too.”

When does Math Culture launch?

Public launch is planned for the first half of 2027, after testing with Singapore families. Join the list to hear first.

Does it work on phones, tablets and computers?
